Duta Baca Indonesia, Mas Gol A Gong Berkunjung Ke RBAN
Agam-RBAN, Mas Gol Agong, Duta Baca Indonesia berkunjung ke RBAN pada hari Kamis, 18 Agustus 2022, sehari setelah perayaan hari kemerdekaan Indonesia yang ke-77. Kunjungan duta baca Indonesia ke Sumatera Barat sebenarnya menghadiri acara BPIP (Badan Pembina Ideologi Pancasila) yang diselenggarakan di kota Bukittinggi.
Kedatangan duta baca Indonesia yang merakyat ini di kota Jam Gadang yang lokasinya tidak jauh dari RBAN dimanfaatkan oleh founder RBAN, Sry Eka Handayani beserta suami yang juga menjabat sebagai ketua untuk menyambut duta baca Indonesia periode 2021-2025 tersebut. Mengajak mas Gol A Gong menikmati keindahan alam Minangkabau dengan mencicipi minuman khas “Teh Talua Tapai” yang ada di tempat wisata Kapa Toman, Ngarai Sianok sembari bercerita tentang gerakan literasi Indonesia merupakan spot awal sebelum menuju RBAN.
Mas Gol A Gong memberikan banyak wejangan kepada founder dan ketua RBAN untuk terus meningkatkan kemampuan menulis. “Kita harus meningkatkan level sebagai pegiat literasi, jangan hanya baca, baca aja. Pegiat literasi harus menulis agar menjadi contoh kepada pengunjung taman bacaan, semuanya ditunjukkan dengan karya buku”, jelasnya.
Kunjungan 3 hari di Sumatera Barat dimanfaatkan juga oleh mas Gol A Gong untuk bertemu dengan pegiat-pegiat literasi dari Minangkabau. Rencananya UPT- Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Hatta akan menggelar pertemuan tersebut pada hari Sabtu, 20 Agustus 2022, Pukul 09.00-12.00 WIB di Ruang Seminar UPT. Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Hatta. Pada acara tersebut, Mas Gol A Gong akan berbincang mengenai literasi, kepenulisan dan praktik baik.
