Kunjungan Pustakawan Unand ke RBAN
Agam-rban.or.id, Rabu, 21 September 2022, RBAN kedatangan tamu dari Padang. Tamu yang berkunjung adalah Iswadi Syahrial Nupin, Pustakawan Muda Universitas Andalas. Beliau juga menjabat sebagai Kepala Bidang Pelayanan Pengguna sekaligus Koordinator Bidang Layanan Referensi Unand.
Dalam kunjungan tersebut beliau berdiskusi dengan Ketua dan Founder RBAN, Hasan Achari Harahap dan Sry Eka Handayani, turut serta juga para guru serta wartawan Surat Kabar Rakyat Sumbar, Edward, yang sebelumnya bersama menjadi peserta acara Bimtek Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah yang diadakan oleh Perpusnas dan UPT-Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Hatta dari tanggal 21-23 september 2022.
“Pentingnya dibangun kerjasama yang kuat diantara rumah baca, seperti membentuk aliansi atau konsorsium yang permanen”, ungkap Syahrial Nupin memberi masukan kepada RBAN.”membangun katalog bersama antara rumah baca di Sumatra Barat untuk memudahkan peneliti mencari referensi”, lanjutnya.
Sry Eka Handayani, Founder RBAN menyambut baik kedatangan pustakawan dari Unand tersebut. Dia mengatakan, “RBAN siap untuk melakukan kolaborasi dengan siapa saja asalkan mempunyai manfaat bagi masyarakat dan masa depan generasi bangsa melalui literasi”.
Diskusi yang berlangsung sangat menarik menghasilkan ide-ide baru, khususnya kolaborasi antara pustakawan, pegiat literasi dan guru sekolah. Diharapakan kolaborasi tersebut dapat meningkatkan indeks literasi Sumatra Barat lebih baik kedepannya. – SC-
