Pustakawan MTSS. Darul Huda Rao-Rao Studi Tiru ke RBAN
rban.or.id – Kamis, 28/04/2023, Rumah Baca Anak Nagari mendapat kunjungan dari 2 pustakawan dari MTSS Darul Huda Rao-Rao Batu Sangkar Sumatera Barat untuk melakukan studi tiru selama 2 hari.
Rumah Baca Anak Nagari menjadi pilihan bagi pustakawan tersebut untuk menimba ilmu tentang hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan perpustakaan, baik dalam mengelola buku, administrasi pepustakaan, hingga menggerakan literasi masyarakat melalui perpustakaan.
Dalam mengelola buku, RBAN telah menggunakan sistem automasi perpustakaan dengan SLIMS. SLIMS (Senayan Library Management System), sebuah aplikasi perpustakaan yang sifatnya open source untuk mempermudah pustakawan mengelola perpustakaannya.
Rumah Baca Anak Nagari sebuah komunitas baca telah menggunakan SLIMS sejak 2019 untuk mengelola semua koleksi bacaan di RBAN. Mulai dari temu balik koleksi, sirkulasi buku, penambahan anggota, palabelan buku, hingga pelaporan koleksi bacaan.
Meskipun penggunaan SLIMS hanya pada jaringan lokal tetapi sangat membantu kami untuk mengelola koleksi buku yang hampir 10000 jumlahnya.
Seperti tagline yang terus digaungkan RBAN, Ayo Bergerak, Berbagi dan Berkolaborasi, RBAN juga membuka ruang-ruang bagi komunitas baca, perpustakaan untuk mengelola aset berharganya yaitu buku dengan aplikasi perpustakaan SLIMS
