Peringatan Hari Film Nasional: Pemutaran Film Usmar Ismail di Tanah Kelahirannya
(28/3/24) Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Film Nasional (HFN) yang jatuh setiap 30 Maret, sebuah acara istimewa digelar di Tanah Kelahiran salah satu sineas legendaris Indonesia, Usmar Ismail. Acara ini menampilkan pemutaran kembali karya film terbaik dari sang maestro, sebagai penghormatan atas kontribusinya yang tak ternilai dalam perkembangan perfilman Indonesia.
Rangkaian acara juga digelar seperti lawatan sejarah, pemutaran film dan Public Lecture dan ditutup pameran usmar yang kesemuanya dilakukan di tanah kelahiran sang maestro perfilman Indonesia. Ratusan peserta dari berbagai kalangan turut hadir menyaksikan kegiatan yang gelar oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) melalui Direktorat Perfilman, Musik, dan Media bekerjasama dengan Sako Academy yang dipimpin oleh Arif Malin Mudo, sutradara film surau silek.
Pengurus dan relawan Rumah Baca Anak Nagari (RBAN) juga turun hadir menjadi peserta di acara yang dilakasanakan di hotel Rocky, Bukittinggi. Dalam Sesi Public lecture dihadirkan narasumber yang menginspirasi seperti Heidy Usmar (Founder Usmar Islamil Society), Riri Riza ( Sutradara Film) dan Hasril Chaniago ( Sejarawan dan Penulis) yang di moderator oleh Arif Malin Mudo.
Film yang diputar dalam acara tersebut adalah “Djendral Kancil” yang menjadi salah satu karya dari Usmar Ismail. Film ini membawa penonton yang kebanyakan generasi Z terbawa pada suasana dimasa kecil yang berbeda jauh dari suasana anak zaman sekarang.
“Kami sangat senang bisa menjadi bagian dari peristiwa yang langkah ini”, Ungkap Sry, Founder RBAN yang turut hadir di acara tersebut.
“Semoga bioskop bisa kembali dihadirkan dikota kelahiran sang pahlawan nasional, Usmar Ismail”, lanjutnya.
Kehadiran para penggemar film dan peminat seni di acara ini menunjukkan bahwa karya-karya Usmar Ismail masih tetap relevan hingga saat ini. Dengan adanya upaya pemutaran ulang ini, diharapkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam setiap adegan film-film tersebut dapat terus diapresiasi dan dilestarikan oleh generasi mendatang.
Acara pemutaran film Usmar Ismail di Tanah Kelahiran ini tidak hanya menjadi ajang hiburan semata, tetapi juga menjadi momen refleksi atas perjalanan perfilman Indonesia sejak zaman dahulu hingga kini. Selain itu, acara ini juga mengingatkan kita akan pentingnya menjaga dan melestarikan warisan budaya bangsa sebagai bagian dari identitas dan jati diri kita sebagai bangsa Indonesia
