RBAN Gelar Kelas Komputer dan English Club Gratis Rutin Setiap Minggu
Minggu, 2 Juni 2024, Rumah Baca Anak Nagari (RBAN) melaksanakan kegiatan rutin yaitu kelas belajar komputer dan English Club. Dua kegiatan ini diikuti oleh puluhan anak setiap minggunya.
Kegiatan belajar komputer dimulai pukul 08.00 – 10.00 WIB dengan materi MS Word. Dilanjutkan dengan kelas Excel lanjutan pada pukul 10.00 – 12.00 WIB. Kemudian, kelas Excel dasar dimulai pukul 13.00 – 15.00 WIB.
Pada pukul 10.00 WIB, di ruangan terpisah, kegiatan English Club juga dimulai. Kegiatan ini dibimbing langsung oleh Relawan RBAN, Kak Hernan. Pengenalan Bahasa Inggris dasar dilakukan secara sistematis sesuai buku panduan dari sekolah.
“Kegiatan les komputer ini sudah berlangsung selama setahun, yang dikuti oleh puluhan peserta dalam 3 kelas yaitu Ms. Word, Excel Dasar dan Excel Lanjutan” Ungkap Hasan Achari, Ketua RBAN sekaligus menjadi mentor dalam Kelas Komputer
“Program kelas komputer ini tidak dipungut biaya sepeserpun, bahkan anak-anak yang telah lulus dari setiap tingkatan melalui proses ujian teori dan praktik akan diberikan sertifikat kelulusan”, lanjutnya.
Ditemui secara terpisah, founder RBAN, yaitu Sry eka Handayani, M.Pd mengungkapkan rasa gembira karena RBAN bisa menjadi wadah literasi yang dapat diakses oleh siapa saja untuk mendapatkan manfaat demi pengembangan generasi penerus bangsa seperti kegiatan belajar komputer dan bahasa inggris secara gratis.
“Walaupun kegiatan ini gratis, tetapi kami tidak melaksanakannya dengan main-main, setidaknya modul belajar kami rancang dan kami membuat kontrak belajar terlebih dahulu dengan peserta, meskipun perangkat komputer yang kami miliki masih minim” Ungkap Sry Eka Handayani, founder RBAN.
Anak-anak terlihat antusias mengikuti kegiatan rutin yang dilaksanakan oleh komunitas baca yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat dengan diantar dan dijemput oleh orang tua masing-masing.
