Rumah Baca Anak Nagari (RBAN) menyerahkan sertifikat kelulusan kelas komputer kepada 19 peserta pada hari Minggu, 21 Juli 2024, di Ruang Baca RBAN.
Penyerahan sertifikat ini merupakan bukti kelulusan bagi peserta yang telah menjalani proses belajar selama 3 bulan atau 10 kali pertemuan. Dari 19 peserta yang menerima sertifikat, 14 di antaranya mengikuti kelas Ms. Word dan 5 peserta mengikuti kelas Ms. Excel.
Terdapat tiga jenjang dalam kelas komputer di RBAN, yaitu Ms. Word, Ms. Excel Basic, dan Ms. Excel Lanjutan. “Setiap peserta yang mengikuti kelas komputer di RBAN wajib mengikuti kelas komputer dari jenjang dasar, yaitu Ms. Word,” ungkap Hasan saat memberikan pengarahan kepada peserta.
“Peserta yang lulus jenjang pertama, yaitu Ms. Word, akan mendapatkan sertifikat kelulusan yang bisa menjadi bukti untuk melanjutkan ke jenjang Ms. Excel Basic,” lanjutnya.
Sementara itu, pendiri RBAN, Sry Eka Handayani, mengatakan, “Kelas komputer di RBAN ini merupakan suatu bentuk ikhtiar dari kami untuk meningkatkan soft skill digital bagi anak-anak, sehingga mereka bisa mendapatkan pengetahuan baru yang berguna bagi kehidupannya.”
“Walaupun kami menyelenggarakannya dengan sederhana, menggunakan peralatan seadanya, kami serius menyelenggarakan kegiatan ini,” tambahnya.
RBAN hanya memiliki empat perangkat komputer ditambah tiga laptop milik pengurus RBAN dalam menyelenggarakan kelas komputer ini. “Sebenarnya kami butuh tambahan komputer atau laptop, agar setiap peserta tidak berbagi satu perangkat untuk dua peserta,” ungkap Hasan, ketua RBAN sekaligus mentor dalam kelas komputer tersebut.
“Dengan kondisi seperti ini, kami hanya bisa menerima peserta sebanyak 10 orang dengan catatan sebagian dari mereka membawa laptop dari rumahnya,” lanjutnya.
