Bincang Novel Best Seller Bersama Gol A Gong Di RBAN
Agam-rban.or.id, Rumah Baca Anak Nagari (RBAN) menggelar bincang novel best seller bersama Duta Baca Indonesia 2021-2025, Heri Hendrayana Harris atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Gol A Gong pada hari sabtu, 20 Agustus 2022 di ruang pertemuan Rumah Baca Anak Nagari (RBAN) jalan kusuma Bakti No.12 Ujung By Pass Pakoan, Gadut , Kecamatan Tilatang Kamang, Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat.
Bincang Novel Best Seller ini berjalan santai dengan jumlah peserta 56 orang. Para peserta terdiri dari berbagai profesi, mulai dari pengawas, guru, kepala sekolah, mahasiswa, wartawan dan para pegiat literasi yang berada di kabupaten Agam dan Kota Bukittinggi.
Pemaparan yang tenang dan dinamis dari Gol A Gong tentang kiat-kiat menulis Novel Best Seller membuat waktu terasa singkat. Para peserta sangat antusias dengan mengajukan berbagai pertanyaan berkaitan dengan tema dan pengalaman pribadi si pendiri Rumah Dunia Banten tersebut.
Gol A Gong menjelaskan bahwa gerakan literasi khususnya baca-tulis telah dijalani sejak kecil. Ayah dan Ibu yang berprofesi sebagai guru telah mengajarkan banyak padanya tentang arti pentingnya berliterasi dengan membaca dan menulis melalui literasi keluarga.
“Ayah dan Ibu telah menanamkan nilai-nilai kehidupan melalui aktivitas mendongeng sebelum tidur kepada kami anak-anaknya”, ungkap Gol A Gong.
Kondisi cacat yang diderita olehnya sejak kelas 4 SD yaitu tangan yang harus diamputasi karena jatuh tidak membuat dirinya minder, buku-buku yang dia baca telah melupakan kekurangan pada dirinya, sehingga banyak hal-hal positif yang dia lakukan dengan aktivitas membaca yang telah dia lakoni semenjak kecil.
Gol A Gong ( 59 tahun) juga telah meraih prestasi yang mengharumkan nama Indonesia di dunia internasional, dia merupakan atlet paralympic asia pasifik dari cabang olah raga bulutangkis tahun 1985 dan meraih medali emas sebanyak 5 kali.
“Kegiatan ini diharapkan meningkatkan minat baca dan munculnya penulis-penulis baru dengan genre novel di Sumatra Barat”, ungkap sry, founder RBAN.
Acara ditutup tepat pukul 17.30 wib dengan sesi foto bersama di halaman Rumah Baca Anak Nagari.
