Sepenggal Kisah Workshop Produk Kreatif Bahan Kertas Bekas UPT-PPBH
Bukittinggi-rban.or.id, UPT-Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Hatta menggelar workshop produk kreatif bahan kertas bekas di Balai Sidang Bung Hatta, Novotel Bukittinggi pada tanggal 22-24 Agustus 2022. Workshop tersebut merupakan kegiatan ke-6 atau iven terakhir di tahun 2022 yang dilaksanakan oleh UPT-Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Hatta dalam rangkaian kegiatan rutin layanan perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial tahun 2022.
“Kegiatan workshop ini merupakan prioritas nasional berbasis inklusi sosial yang dilaksanakan oleh UPT-Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Hatta untuk kali ke-2, setelah tahun 2021 untuk pertama kali digelar”, ungkap Ibu Meindria Restuwisharty yang ditemui disela-sela penutupan workshop hari terakhir (24/8).
Lebih lanjut, koordinator layanan dan pustakawan ahli madya ini mengatakan tujuan acara ini adalah memberikan ilmu bagi kalangan umum, mahasiswa, pihak UMKM dan pegiat literasi untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat.
Kegiatan workshop ini diikuti oleh 75 peserta dari berbagai kalangan. Ibu Meindria Restuwisharty mengatakan, “terjadi peningkatan 2 kali lipat dari pelaksanaan kegiatan tahun lalu yang hanya berjumlah 30 orang saja”. “Rencananya jumlah peserta juga akan ditingkatkan pada pelaksanaan tahun depan sebanyak 100 orang jika pengajuan anggaran disetujui oleh perpustakaan nasional”, lanjutnya.
Workshop produk kreatif bahan kertas bekas ini menghadirkan narasumber yang memiliki pengalaman dibidang pengolahan kertas. Dari 4 narasumber yang memberikan materi selama 3 hari pelaksanaan workshop tersebut terdapat 3 narasumber berasal dari luar provinsi Sumatera Barat.
Para peserta mendapatkan insight dan melakukan praktek secara langsung mengolah bahan kertas bekas menjadi produk kreatif yang bernilai jual tinggi. Pada hari pertama pelaksanaan workshop para peserta mendapatkan ilmu tentang mengayam bahan kertas bekas dari ibu Aling Nur Naluri, founder/CEO Salam Rancage. Hasilnya para peserta bisa membuat produk dari ayaman kertas bekas tersebut berupa vas bunga dan kota pensil. Pada hari kedua peserta workshop diberikan materi tentang papercraft oleh Reza Mahmud Rauf, STP, seorang papercraft profesional builder and designer, sedangkan dihari terakhir, Ibu Putri Ayu Pratami, CEO Ichinogami Papercraft Expert memberikan materi digital marketing, dilanjutkan oleh Amrizal, S.Pd, M.A, Dosen Kriya ISI Padang Panjang, memberikan materi relief bubur kertas bekas.
Hasan Achari Harahap, ketua RBAN juga mengikuti acara workshop produk kreatif bahan kertas bekas yang di laksanakan oleh UPT-PPBH sebagai bentuk sinergi dengan komunitas baca yang ada di Sumatra Barat. “Iven yang digelar oleh UPT-PPBH sangat besar manfaatnya bagi kami sebagai komunitas baca, karena memberikan kami masukan dalam melaksanakan program-program kedepannya di RBAN”, ungkap Hasan Achari Harahap.
Para peserta juga memberikan tanggapan yang positif dengan digelarnya workshop produk kreatif bahan kertas bekas. Hasmar Affandi, mahasiwa ISI jurusan DKV mengatakan, “sangat menarik sekali, karena mendapatkan pengalaman dan pengetahuan baru yang saya dapatkan, apalagi pemateri adalah orang-orang hebat, semoga soft skill ini bisa kembangkan lagi.
Sedangkan Annisa Salsabila, Founder Balai Baco SIKOLA yang juga menjadi peserta teraktif pada workshop ini mengatakan, “untuk UPT-PPBH terus bergiat melaksanakan program-program sehingga dirasakan oleh masyarakat luas, terima kasih dengan acara ini”.
Pelaksanaan workshop produk kreatif bahan kertas bekas yang dilaksanakan oleh UPT-PPBH resmi ditutup oleh ibu Meindria Restuwisharty, sebagai koordinator layanan dan pustakawan ahli madya UPT-PPBH tepat jam 16.00 WIB di Balai Sidang Bung Hatta, Novotel, Bukittinggi (24/8). -SC-
