“Gempar! Guru SD Sekolah Alam Bukittinggi Borong 100 Buku dari Rumah Baca Anak Nagari
Agam, Selasa, 4 Juni 2024 – Guru PL dari SD Sekolah Alam Bukittinggi mendatangi Rumah Baca Anak Nagari (RBAN) pada pagi hari pukul 10.00 WIB. Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk mengantarkan surat permohonan peminjaman buku sekaligus membawa koleksi buku yang akan dipinjam ke sekolah mereka.
“Kami memperbolehkan komunitas atau sekolah meminjam hingga 100 buku selama satu bulan,” ujar Hasan Achari, Ketua RBAN, saat menyambut para guru tersebut.
RBAN memberikan fasilitas peminjaman buku yang fleksibel untuk berbagai komunitas baca seperti Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM), rumah baca, atau sekolah. Setiap komunitas atau sekolah dapat meminjam hingga 100 eksemplar buku dalam jangka waktu satu bulan. Sementara itu, untuk peminjaman individu, batasan maksimal adalah tiga buku dengan jangka waktu peminjaman selama satu minggu.
Guru PL dari SD Sekolah Alam Bukittinggi memilih beragam buku untuk dipinjam, termasuk buku bergambar anak-anak, komik, dan buku bertema agama.
“RBAN telah banyak mendistribusikan buku ke berbagai komunitas di Sumatera Barat, termasuk TBM, rumah baca, dan sekolah. Kami juga memberikan kebebasan dalam jumlah dan waktu pengembalian buku,” kata Sry Eka Handayani, pendiri RBAN, dalam konfirmasi terpisah.
“Sebagai contoh, SMA Negeri 1 di Kabupaten Solok Selatan meminjam sebanyak 250 buku pada bulan Februari 2024,” tambahnya.
Inisiatif ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat baca di kalangan pelajar dan komunitas di Sumatera Barat, sekaligus mendukung upaya peningkatan literasi demi terwujudnya generasi Indonesia emas 2045.
