Atha, Pemustaka Cilik
Namanya Atha, siswa kelas 2 dari SDIT Al-Islah kota Bukittinggi. Kunjungan Atha ke RBAN hari ini adalah kunjungan yang ke 3 dalam bulan April 2022. Hari ini dia ditemani oleh bundanya, sama seperti kunjungan pertamanya di tanggal 10 April 2022, tetapi ada yang berbeda, jumlah buku dipinjam jauh lebih banyak 1 buah buku dari kunjungan pertama yang hanya 6 buah buku saja.
Atha sangat bersemangat menelusuri setiap rak buku kategori anak. Disaat dia melihat buku yang disenangi langsung dia berteriak “Ma, buku ini dipinjam ya”. Sebenarnya sang mama sudah melarang dia untuk menambah buku lagi karena sudah melewati batas buku yang harus dipinjam, tetapi Atha terus memaksa mamanya untuk memasukkan buku tersebut dalam tumpukan buku yang akan dipinjam.
“Coba tanya bunda boleh tidak dipinjam lagi, karena sudah banyak Atha” kata mama
” Tidak apa- apa, asal bukunya dibaca dan dirawat ya Atha ” balasku
Atha seorang anak yang punya hobi membaca merupakan salah satu dari pemustaka cilik yang sering berkunjung ke rumah baca untuk meminjam dan mengembalikan buku walaupun rumahnya jauh dari Rumah Baca Rban .
Sebenarnya, Setengah jam sebelum kedatangan Atha, 3 siswi SDN 27 Gadut yang berlokasi tidak jauh dari rumah baca berkunjung juga ke RBAN untuk meminjam buku. 3 siswi tersebut baru pertama kali datang ke RBAN. Mereka datang ke rumah baca karena mendapat info dari guru MDA yang sering meminjam buku ke RBAN.
Terbesit dalam hati yang paling dalam, rumah baca yang akan genap berusia 5 tahun di bulan desember mendatang ternyata memberikan banyak manfaat bagi generasi penerus bangsa dalam meningkatkan minat baca pada usia dini.
